Embry-Riddle is in the midst of an ambitious project to preserve and document its history and heritage. In an ongoing effort to keep its legacy alive for future aviation enthusiasts, the University is collecting and will archive documents, oral histories, memorabilia, and artifacts that tell the Embry-Riddle story from the earliest days as a flight school at Lunken Airport in Cincinnati, Ohio, through its emergence as a global university.

The historical collection, preserving the noteworthy and defining events in the life of Embry-Riddle, will be housed and displayed at the Daytona Beach, Florida,  and Prescott, Arizona campuses. It will be open to historians and the public as well.

This is an important effort. Throughout its history, Embry-Riddle has been a pioneer and partner in the evolution of the aviation industry in America and abroad. This legacy must be preserved for students, researchers, and the public.
