Office of Sponsored Programs
Under the leadership of Vice President for Research and Assistant to the President, Dr. Christina Frederick-Recascino, the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) provides pre- and post-award support for the development of research and creative activities. The OSP ensures compliance with federal, state, agency, and University regulations and policies for all grants and contracts within all entities of the University.
OSP serves as the liaison between the principal investigators and the University or external organization, maintains a database of all proposal and funded sponsored activity, and provides financial activity reports for PI's, department chairs, deans, and the chief academic officer. OSP publishes a semi-annual electronic newsletter on current research activities.
The Grants Administration Analysts listed below provide administrative and oversight services to all departments as well as the OSP modeling and simulation product area. They work directly with University principal investigators and program managers to provide support -- from the identification of research opportunities to post-award grant or contract administration. OSP organizes seminars and discussions pertaining to grantsmanship, proposal development, and program management.
